Jak se závada projevuje

Nefunguje / funguje nesprávně. The vehicle was brought in by another workshop with a battery at its end of life. After replacing the battery the ESP and power steering warning lights illuminated.

Doposud provedeno bez úspěchu

The car was brought in for repair by the next door workshop where they could not perform basic settings for the steering wheel angle sensor G85. My attempts were also unsuccessful. After some web online investigation I connected to the ABS system and monitorem the wheel speed sensor signals. Here I discovered that the LR wheel speed was different by 3 km/h compared to the other sensors. Because the previous workshop replaced the LR wheel bearing I decided to replace the LR wheel speed sensor on which I could see some mechanical damage and was hoping that the semsor is the cause. After installing a new wheel speed sensor the problems was still present. I now connected an oscilloscope to the wheel speed sensor. The scope confirmed the ABS control units response that the new wheel bearing tonewheel is defective. The waveform is showing that once the sensor signal is faster and the next time it is slower. After removing the wheel bearing I found out that it is manufactured by STARLINE. When a new FAG wheel bearing was installed immediately after driving out of the workshop the problem was solved.
