Závěr

VOZIDLO JSEM NEOPRAVOVAL

The instrument cluster on this model fails quite often due to problems with the processor. Since this vehicle has a problem only with one instrument the rev counter we can rule out a problem with the processor. The issue is a problem with the magnetic field that could be caused by a fault in the power supply, wiring or by a defective motor.
The initial testing of the motor revealed that the first coils resistance is 170 ohm and nothing was measured on the second coil. With a magnifying glass I could see a broken wire contact at the end. Soldered the joint and measured the same 170 ohm on the second coil. Reassembled everything and adjusted the pointer to idle value.
Vehicle repaired.
