Doposud provedeno bez úspěchu

This vehicle has 2 independent problems that were worked on within one month. In the first case the customer arrived with an illuminated MIL light and a stored DTC related to the CMP sensor. Testing revealed that the CMP sensor signal seems to be OK. The CMP and CKP sensor synchronisation showed a problem. At first I didn't realize that the recording runs from RIGHT to LEFT and not from left to right. The recording indicates that the timing chain is not stretched but is skipped. Since the engine oil sump was removed I noticed that the oil pump strainer is strongly contaminated/blocked. So this is the primary problem. The strainer was cleaned, the timing chain was replaced together with the timing chain tensioner.

The vehicle returned after a month and customer claiming that the problem has returned. It wasn't the same problem. This time the MIL light blinked and the engine stalled (usually at idle) and the engine could be restarted only after about 1 minute. No DTC in memory. I only have OBD diagnostics for this vehicle. During diagnostics we discovered that the CKP sensor intermittently forgets to read all the teeth correctly.
