  • Trvale přítomná závada.

V jakém systému se závada vyskytuje

  • Motoru.
  • po startu motoru
  • [P0405 (15536)] temperature sensor of EGR exhaust gases (G98) – signal too small
  • trvalá závada
  • sporadická závada

Doposud provedeno bez úspěchu

The following DTC sets into memory:
15536 - teperature sensor of EGR exhaust gases (G98) - signal too small. I can't find this sensor anywhere. Unless its incorporated into the actual EGR valve body I would think that it's an incorrect translation.
Log recording was done during the actuator test. I think that the valve is working and the only point that I am not sure about is if the valves operating range is correct.
In the next step I connected an oscilloscope according to the schematic diagram shown in the Vivid Workshop Manual. According to this schematic diagram the motor contacts are on pins 5 (+) and 6 (-).
I dont know if the schematic diagram is incorrect or my judgment by in my opinion the 12 V duty-cycle is on pins 2 and 6.
After recording first log I cleaned the mechanical part with VD40 and with the help of the actuator test I tried to make the valve achieve a larger range of travel.
While recording a second log I noticed that the valve buzzing stops occasionally. This dropout is visible on the recording. I don't know if this could be caused by some sort of oscilloscope incapability.
Can I please have your opinion if the EGR valve is in a condition to be replaced.
