Doposud provedeno bez úspěchu

About 2000 km ago the the DPF filter was replaced by an aftermarket unit. Since replacement the vehicle has power and was running OK. Today after 2000 km the exhaust is black from soot despite that it was clean at the beginning after replacement. A week ago the engine started to stall and a DTC related to a DPF filter problem sets into memory.

The owner is spending money on a used vehicle that was supposed to be OK.
The vehicle repair is not finished as there may be an engine problem. We will continue in engine diagnosis.
What we already know is that the DPF filter is misbuilt. Is this just a random problem of one DPF filter or do other DPF filters of the same supplier have similar issues?
Is it wortwhile to buy a used diesel engine vehicle with a DPF filter today?

After 2 000 km with aftermarket DPF filter (7748/1)

The exhaust tailpipe after 2 000 km is black from soot and a DTC related to DPF problem sets into memory.

Regeneration every 15 kms (7748/2)

This aftermarket spare part behaves differently than the original. The filter produces much higher resistance to the exhaust gases compared with the original filter. The engine ECU evaluates this as low DPF filter efficiency because the exhaust backpressure after regeneration is almost the same as before regeneration around 9 to 12 mbar (depending on temperature). At 1 500 rpm the backpressure is around 30 mbar, at 3 000 rpm = 60 mbar and after warmup it reaches 99 mbar. While driving with active regeneration the value reaches 530 mbar and the engine jerks.

The filter is unusable.

Reason for black tailpipe (7748/3)

..the gap of the seal at the top - build defect.

Otherwise the cells after 2 000 km seem to be OK without any signs of leaking.

Test drive (7748/4)

..again regeneration after 20 km of driving. The engine oil level is rising and the engine oil is saturated by diesl fuel from frequent accelerations.

It is clear that the filter from an Italian manufacturer is misbuilt and the owner will have apply a claim. Will the supplier accept this as awarranty? Who is going to pay the labour costs? What support documentation will the owner require to produce to the local distributor of this part?
